My Ultimate Crush

My crush on Sheena Easton can only aptly be described as S-I-C-K! As a youngster I developed what has turned out to be the hardest crush of my life. To give you an idea of how ridiculously huge this crush is, picture this: If you put ALL of my current major crushes together, collectively they pale in comparison to my Sheena Easton crush. She's not sporting short hair anymore but back then the short jet-black hair, those sexy eyes *swoon* - her eyes... *sigh*, those luscious alluring lips and the perfect shape of her frame... my word... I swear I'm getting a bit giddy recalling it all and bet your ass I'm still crusing on her to this day.




Her hair color and style changed over the years, but it never mattered. Long hair, short hair, black hair, red hair - the woman was just so damn hot no matter the style or color.


Her teeth - P-E-R-F-E-C-T. The contour of her face - F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S. And heavens to mergatroid! - her voice - S-E-X-Y is an understatement. When she speaks, *swoon* - I feel weak. Her sex appeal is transcendent. She makes me all hot and bothered I tell you.


When she got together with Prince (the sexiest man alive) to do U Got The Look I was beside myself. I didn't know whether to envy him, hate him, love him, be happy for him, I think I just really wanted to be him (lmao).




I fantasized about her constantly. Went out of my way to get my hands on any picture, magazine, interview, CD, poster, TV appearance, Concert; you name it and I was there.




When she sang For Your Eyes Only, I was totally convinced that she sang it just for me. It was our song.




She was born Sheena Shirley Orr on April 27, 1959 in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. (This is my most favorite picture of them all.)




She was inspired by Barbra Streisand's performance in The Way We Were to become a singer. Easton wanted to have the same effect on others that Streisand had on her.


She excelled in school and earned a scholarship to attend the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow from 1975 to 1979 during the day while singing with a band called 'Something Else' at local clubs at night.


She is the mother of two adopted children - Jake (1994) and Skylar (1996) and currently resides in Las Vegas.


January 2008 Easton returned to Santiago, Chile for a one time concert. She had last visited Chile some 24 years ago when she was promoting her album Todo Me Recuerda A Ti her Spanish greatest hits album.




Easton currently tours throughout the year at various venues throughout the world. Her concerts are usually scheduled for weekends as she states her kids are her priority right now.




Easton has performed at Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City in March 2008.




She was the third British solo female artist to reach #1 on the Hot 100 US singles chart. The first is Petula Clark, then Lulu, she was followed by Bonnie Tyler and then Kim Wilde and most recently by Leona Lewis. Petula, Sheena, and now Leona are the only 3 British solo female artist to have #1 debut on the US Billboard Hot 100.




Since 1981 she has released 20 albums - the first being Take My Time and the last Classic Masters (2002)
