I know I'm not the only one who look at celebrity couples and think, 'hmm... those two go well together' or 'damn, there's something about that that just doesn't sit right'. Of course at the end of the day, all that truly matters is that these couples are happy and having a good relationship. So in the interest of casting my yay or nay vote (in other words, having nothing better to do or just needing to entertain myself), I give you a few couples to whom I say YAY!
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. These two just are just the cutest and most adorable thing ever. They look absolutely great together and it looks like they're truly in love with each other. I have a feeling Ben must be thanking his lucky stars that things didn't work out with the other Jen.
They started dating in July 2004 and were married at the Parrot Cay Resort on the Turks and Caicos Islands on June 29, 2005. On December 1, 2005, she gave birth to their daughter, Violet Anne Affleck, in Los Angeles, California. Jen enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking and kickboxing (a hobby picked up during training for her Alias character). She is currently working on 4 films - Cyrano de Bergerac Roxanne (TV 2008), This Side of the Truth (2009), The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Be With You. All 4 are in the filming stage.
Denzel and Pauletta Washington. The couple met on the set of Wilma (1977) and were married on June 25, 1983.
They are the parents of 4 children - John David (July 28, 1984), Katia (November 1987) and twins Olivia and Malcolm (b. April 10, 1991). Washington became the second African-American (second to Sidney Poitier) to win the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Training Day back in 2001. He is currently working on the film The Taking of Pelham 123 to be released in 2009.
Hugh Michael Jackman (Australian) and Deborra-Lee Furness. They met on the set of an Australian television series - Correlli (1995) and were married on April 11, 1996. Unfortunately Furness suffered 2 miscarriages which led them to adopt 2 children - Oscar Maximillian (born May 15, 2000) and Ava Eliot (born July 10, 2005).
Furness appeared in the film Sleepwalking (earlier this year - along with Charlize Theron) and will be starring in Beautiful set to be released some time this year. Jackman has 6 films slated for this year - Uncle Jonny, Deception, Australia (post-production), Drive (pre-production), If You Could See Me Now and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (currently filming and set to be released in 2009).
