Biography: 

Dagg first grabbed the headlines when he made his domestic debut for Hawke’s Bay in 2006 while still at school. He went on to represent New Zealand U19 and the New Zealand Sevens team the following year.
After a successful term with the Highlanders, Dagg was rewarded with a Test debut in 2010.
The 23-year-old made an immediate impression, with tries against South Africa in the Tri-Nations. Two quadriceps injuries, first in late 2010 and then during the 2011 Super Rugby season - after he had moved to the Crusaders - looked set to scupper Dagg’s hopes of making the World Cup but he returned to fitness just in time to earn selection.
