CSI Miami: Kim Delaney

This week I'm bringing to you the gorgeous women of CSI Miami. I love the show, I think it's one of the very best shows on television. I'm sure lots will disagree, but that's how I feel. It's an awesome show, I like the way it plays out; I like the technology involved. Techie things fascinate me. The show is stimulating to my mind and that's key. I like it when my brain works; like it when I have to figure things out along the way.

As much as I love the plot lines, the chemistry of the entire cast is second to none (IMHO of course). The way they gel together is lacking in so many other popular shows.

I love the way their personal lives are intertwined into the main plot of it all. It shows their human side and that's a big plus in my book. I don't care much for a mechanical cast, since people are not mechanical.

But enough of my raving about the show. Let's get down to what I came here for. Now the show has all that's mentioned above but the icing on the cake is the beautiful women who play major roles. That's another thing with this show; the women get to play an integral part in the episodes.

So today I bring to you Kim Delaney. She's a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You might know Kim from All My Children where she played innocent teenager Jenny Gardner Nelson from 1981 - 1984.

When she left the show she appeared in The Delta Force in 1986 and The Drifter in 1988 - she made her first and only nude appearance of her career in this movie.

She has made regular appearance on Tour of Duty, NYPD Blue, Law & Order: SVU, The OC, Philly and CSI Miami. She currently plays the character Claudia Joy Holden on Lifetime TV's Army Wives.

She was nominated 3 times for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress on NYPD Blue and won once.

She was also a much sorted after model back in high school.

On CSI Miami she played Megan Donner a strong-minded forensic specialist who often butted heads with Horatio.

If you haven't seen CSI Miami, then you're missing out. Catch new episodes on CBS on Mondays at 10pm. The show is now in it's 6th Season.

A&E shows reruns twice daily and mini-marathons on Wednesdays and sometimes Fridays. Check out A&E's schedule for show times.
